San Francisco’s premier dance retail store sells dance and athletic wear basics, footwear, and elevated dance fashion. TangentFit is featured in store as part of our wholesale account — we create seasonal window displays to promote and inform customers in SF’s prestigious Hayes Valley.

Process and Installation

Using common materials in an unexpected way is common thread throughout Susan’s design schemes. With respect to budget, functionality, and motivating marketing, the outcome becomes an uplifting, fun visual experience for customers and the community at large.

Design

Elevating a space with purpose, function, and inspiration creates an environment that appeals to one’s senses — context is important for the overall visual effect. This shop has a gorgeous location in SF’s Hayes Valley and receives a lot of foot traffic along Hayes St. This window design serves to inform what the store sells, and gives a sense of how these garments could be used in a whimsical way. It also provides a bit of separation between the busy street and the focused indoor pointe shoe or apparel fittings.
